Kilimanjaro Climb Raises Funds for Impoverished Tanzanians

Debra Newel’s project in Landmark Education’s Self-Expression and Leadership Program comes as a result of her being part of a team at her company that is hiking up Mt. Kilimanjaro in January. Newel and her team are using the hike as an opportunity to raise money for TAFCOM, a non-profit that aids underprivileged children in Tanzania near Mt. Kilimanjaro. The money they are raising is going to complete two classrooms for 45 AIDS orphans and other vulnerable children. See more at the Kilimanjaro Challenge blog.
